SentryWorks is a privately held
company that was founded in 2001 in Boca Raton, Florida. The company
was spun out of Stern & Morrow Software, a successful software development
and consulting company that was founded in 1996 by Uri Stern and
Stan Morrow. Stern and Morrow were recognized authors and entrepreneurs
that were experts in personal computer operating systems. The company
specialized in developing device driver software for hardware manufacturers
(video, printer, USB and other device drivers), as well as, enterprise
software for Fortune 1000 companies. The company's client list included
IBM, Hewlett-Packard, and American Express.
SentryWorks was launched to focus on building
enterprise software for the Contact Center market. Our team of video
device driver and streaming media experts instantly focused on building
a unique screen recording software platform specifically for Contact
Centers. Our easy to use software development platform allowed Quality
Monitoring vendors to seamlessly intergrate screen recording and
monitoring functionality into their products. Unlike competitive
products which were simply remote-control applications that were
re-packaged to perform screen recording, our software platform was
designed from the ground up specifically for the contact center
market. In addition to the best performance of any screen recording
product, we offered a set of unique features such as Instant Messaging
and Collaboration tools that allowed supervisors to effectively
communicate with contact center agents. Today, technologies that
were developed by our software team are widely deployed in contact
centers throughout the world.
In 2004, we began licensing the source code for
our screen recording and monitoring platform, and instantly a whole
set of new uses for the technology evolved. Our software platform
can be licensed for a variety of different uses, such as, web conferencing,
remote control, software training and eLearning, product demonstrations,
help desk support and usability testing.
